Mallorca Taekwon-do is opening at Reflex Center, c/ Samaniego 1, Portals Nous 07181. In collaboration with Reflex Center we will teach group classes in Taekwon-do, personal training of Power Stretching and Self Defense.

Power Stretching - personal training
A system of dynamic stretching exercises and breathing. Power Stretching is a great exercise for everyone who wants a more flexible and toned body. Power Stretching is also suitable as complementary training for professional athletes such as runners, bikers, golfers, tennis/football players, sailers, equestrians etc.

Self Defense - personal training
A Self Defense system that has developed based on the modern, international martial arts Taekwon-do. Tae means foot/jump. Kwon means hand/art. Do means the mental and physical way to use the foot and the hand in fighting, Self Defense and daily life. Our Self Defense is suitabale for men/women/beginners/professionals.

WHAT IS TAEKWON-DO?

Taekwon-do is the name of a self-defence system that has developed into a modern, international martial arts. Taekwon-do consists of three words. Tae - which means foot / jump. Kwon - which means hand / art. Do - which means the mental and physical way to use the foot and the hand in fighting, self-defence and daily life.

Taekwon-do has its tradition in Korea. The people, who had been sub-
ordinated in the feudal society since time immemorial, was banned possession of arms. To be able to defend themselves without weapons,
they developed a variety of movements and foot techniques.
All movements are carried out in the defensive spirit. From this historical basis, Taekwon-do developed into a modern martial art that gives the practitioner self-confidence and also makes him more generous when meeting with weaker individuals.

WHAT'S GOOD WITH TAEKWON-DO?
There are many benefits to practice Taekwon-Do. What you obtain from your training depends on what objectives you want to achieve. These include:

DOES TAEKWON-DO SUIT EVERYONE?
Absolutely. We do recommend though, that the child is at least five years old. They do NOT need any prior knowledge. This is a learning experience.
The teaching style is adjusted to the child's age / maturity level / experience.
The teaching, especially for small children, is designed in a playful way. The idea is that everyone will have fun! Through the play, they eventually learn the movements.
